The Technical Advisory Council

The Foundation Technical Advisory Council (TAC) is the level of governance for the Foundation providing for a strong representation of technical experts and healthcare professionals, bringing together some of the world’s leading experts in the different medical specialties of global surgery as well as global health and development. The main role of the TAC is to provide expert specialist advice to the Foundation Board, High-Level Council, and Secretariat to ensure that the Foundation's vision, mission and global programme of work are appropriate for the identified needs in the areas of Surgical, Obstetrical and Anaesthesia Care and meeting the acceptable standard of care.
