Voice of the Patient and the Global Surgery Foundation announce partnership
Geneva, September 2024 - We are pleased to announce that the Global Surgery Foundation (GSF) and Voice of the Patient (VoP) have entered into a strategic partnership through the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
Voice of the Patient is an initiative of Insight Actuaries, a leading analytics firm in the Australian and South African healthcare market. The VoP initiative was launched to collect and measure the perspective of patients and information about their individual lived experiences, for healthcare quality measurement and improvement, and for value-based funding.
The missions of our two organisations intersect with the shared goal of improving access to care through a value-based care approach, and our joint commitment to centring voices of patients, communities, and people with lived experiences, aligns closely with GSF’s Women’s Health programme.
VoP recently became an official ICHOM partner, and both VoP and GSF will be present at the upcoming ICHOM conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 21-22 October 2024. This is where the value-based healthcare community meets every year, and 2024 will be the year for global real-world case studies alongside practical guidance.
